Porsche eBike App

A new way to elevate the Porsche eBike riding experience.

About

Self initiated project in the eBike space.

Market research

I looked at direct and indirect competitors in the eBike space. Here are some of the competitors and features they have.

Features research in the eBike space

These are some of the potential features that an eBike can have, based on market research. The features in yellow are for hardware, the features in white are for the app. I’ve divided the features based on possible section in the app.

UX Wireframes

Once I've identified the potential features I've started designing the wireframes for the app

Home page

The home screen is a place for the most important information about the bike. The dashboard has 3 sections separated by a tab: Unlocked bike (free to ride), Locked bike and Charging.

Each section allows the user to take action according to the state of the bike.

Rides

Rides section in the app where the user can choose a ride or see more details about one of his previous rides.

Ride navigation

Rides section in the app where the user can choose a ride or see more details about one of his previous rides.

Bike settings

The bike can be controlled from the settings tab. The user can modify the bike riding style and also see the bike maintenance needs.

UI Design

Using the Porsche Next typeface and the Porsche brand colours, I've created the UI design screens based on the wireframes
